Do you know our Kim Chuan Depot is the BIGGEST UNDERGROUND TRAIN DEPOT IN THE WORLD??. Yes! in the world!. Hard to believe it but it is true!. Watch out for the National Geography channel/Discovery Channel!

Interesting... Nice to see all pics.

Yes, SMRT will have only 40 trains for CCL although Kim Chuan depot can hold up to maximum 78 trains.
If I am not wrong, when DTL1 is opened in 2013, some trains from Kim Chuan depot will be "borrowed" to run the service line for DTL1 until DTL2 and DTL Woodlands Road Depot is completed in 2015.

Yes i do have lots from Valenciennes. This is the only pics i can release not all. Sorry. (and i edited to small resolution) (want high resolutions can msg me)... Because my thread is about kim chuan depot not Valenciennes.

guys, sorry if i still owned u the high-res pics of valenciennes. I will give it to u.. Yes i will but u guys have to wait till the revenue service opens in 2009 July.
ALL HIGH-RES PICS OF TRAIN TEST @ VALENCIENNES REQUEST IS CLOSED. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTREST. but no worries i will upload here once circle line revenue for service.

Ok 9V-SKA, I'm hope you will keep your promise to share this when CCL Stage 3 starts revenue service next year even though we are waiting for one year.

i think they're the same. but CCL is 3 carriages.They are different because the NEL uses 1500V AC Overhead while the 750V DC Third Rail, the pantograph and the most probable reason why you see the overhead catenary in 9V-SKA's photos is that Alstom may not have third rail for certain tests.
